Review: Finally, Disney makes a film with excellent 3D graphics and moral values! The reason for all the negative reviews is that this films real message is that a mother and father should raise a family.
I am a married dad who went to see this movie with a 10 yr. old and a 6 yr. old, both boys. They loved this film, as well as I. We did watch it in Imax 3D, in an empty theater. I was no fan of the movie Polar Express, but now their depiction of humans is much better, and some of the scenes are breathtaking in their depth and beauty. It was so realistic we were getting mild motion sickness at some parts, but in a good way.
If you are a fan of science fiction, or of excellent graphics, go watch this movie with your kids. There is no bad language, and the very subtle drug references are very funny if you have been there at any point in your life. This movie deserves a much higher rating than is shown by these leftist reviewers. It is interesting that Disney showing a moral message would be so controversial. We live in very unusual times. Make today great!
This flick was absolutely great. Already seen it three times. Loved the comics and this was the most satisfying adaptation I’ve ever seen mixed with the directors personal charm and tweaks. Mars Needs Moms was just nice to watch and so fun to be a part of as an audience. LOVED IT.

I didn’t find it to long, it was at times a little too knowing and even self indulgent but I guess a film like that has to be! It makes my top ten of the year so far. Lets see if it stays there!
The two great things about Mars Needs Moms are the feel and the acting. When I say feel I am referring to everything from the costumes and makeup all the way to the photography combining to capture the look of the time perfectly. The soundtrack is also pretty good too as you would expect!

Mars Needs Moms combines parts of Pocahontas and Braveheart which includes a liberal dose of Room Marines into an epic complete that requires practically 3 complete hours to unfold. We could criticise that length, the weak story along with the hammy dialogue. We could attack its thinly-veiled ecological message or even the frankly bizarre spirituality in its second fifty percent but honestly absolutely nothing can spoil the knowledge when you might be enveloped in it. Plus a huge aspect of that is definitely down into the brilliant use of 3D – which can be both subtle and extremely beneficial. Til now, we are actually creating films with 3D factors, Avatar will be the initial definitely 3D movie and may properly prove being single of ones most substantial factors to take place to blockbuster film-making given that Mars Needs Moms.

Mars Needs Moms is a genuinely great movie– disappointing summer aside. It’s more refreshing, perhaps, due to the fact that this season has been so lacking, but Mars Needs Moms easily deserves praise all on its own merits rather than by lack of good competition.
